Amruteshwar Temple (Ratanwadi) near Bhandardara Akole Dist:- AhmedNagar

Amruteshwar Temple is one of the temple of Lord Shiva with classic curvings , it is conserved by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI),
it is located in village called Ratanwadi which is base village for famous Ratangad Fort.This place is very remote from the town
called Akole ,only one ST bus comes here  in a day.The climate in rainy season is truely scenic,lush green and clouded
The style of Amruteshwar temple is called Himad Style.The Shivling was drowned under water.

How to go here

By train/vehicle reach Igatpuri. Village Shendi/Bhandardara is about 35 km from Igatpuri (1st bus at about 5.15 am). From Shendi, walk to village Murshet, cross the lake by launch (enquire to local people for the timings), land on the other side of the lake and reach village Ratanwadi. If you have your own vehicle, you can go on other side by the road and reach Ratanwadi directly
